This is how I really feel about my old computer!!!
13-year-old daughter: "Mama, somethings going on with the computer, AGAIN."
Me: "What's happening?"
13 y-o: "I don't know, but I can't do anything. It's just... you'll see. But Mama, how am I going to type my homework?"
I gave a big sigh, and wanted to pound my head!
The computer wouldn't do anything! I couldn't even start it from safe mode. I was so frustrated! I thought about taking it to the computer doctor, yet again. I even called them.
In the past year, I've spent a boat load of money fixing that computer. Mr. Husband often reminded me, I could have had a new one. We've paid $200 here, $150 there, and not just once or twice, reviving, resuscitating, and putting it on life support. The exact number of times, I care NOT to share. That's just the past YEAR, and doesn't include the past few years. Seriously, I could have had two computers!
Thirteen y-o daughter reminded me, just how old that computer is. We've had it for more than 8 years. It's time for that computer to be laid to rest!
Saturday, Mr. Husband took me to buy a brand spanking new computer! I did the new computer dance in the store, and embarrassed my kids. But hey, I was excited. Right now, I am writing this blog from, *singing* 'my new com-puuuuuu-teeer!'
Thanks Mr. Husband, you rock!
Now, I'm in the process of planning a befitting service and burial for my beloved friend. Notices of the service is forthcoming. We hope you can attend.

Yay!!! Computers are great when they are working, but when their not. Oh Boy!!!!
Yay! Comments are back! And I feel your frustration with computers...our "family" computer has been dead now for the last 6 weeks - I refuse to spend one more dime on it. It's driving the kids crazy, but as long as my laptop works, I don't care. I'm SUCH a mean mom.
oh the woes of technology....glad you got a new computer though! just hopped over from twitter! hoping to meet up at blissdom! xoxo
