Yesterday, a little misfortune came my way... My glasses broke! I simply took them off to clean them, and ended up with two pieces in my hands. I have to admit I was a little disgusted at first, because I.CAN.NOT.SEE very well without them, can't read a thing (especially text) without them, and I probably shouldn't drive without them. I was away from home, and the only way I was going to get back was drive!
Mr. Husband fixed me up with a little Duck Tape, and I was good to go. We had a parent meeting to attend for summer basketball and I wore them, tape and all. Mr. Husband tells me that he didn't intend for me to wear them around other people. Actually, I could care less what they thought... I needed to see!
Today, I'm wearing a pair of contacts that should have been thrown away about a month ago! I thought about wearing the taped glasses, until I get another pair, but I don't want to embarrass my family. Actually, I don't think anyone will notice. Teeheehee!
