August 19, the first day of school, I wasn't ready! I wasn't ready to give up the lazy days of summer, of not having to get the kids to school on time, no homework, and after school activities. I WAS NOT READY!
From that very day, I have looked forward to Spring Break. And it's finally here! This evening, after my last class, I turn in mid-term delinquent grades, and walk off the campus of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, it's official. SSSPPPPRIIIIIIIING BREAK, bay-bee!
I'm so excited! I want to run down the street like a crazy woman, waving my hands in the air, like I just don't care! I will try to contain myself, but I make no promises.
Of course I'll share our Spring Break adventures with you all next week. We'll see just how many of my plans actually make it to reality. The kids are already complaining!

Wave those hands! Whoo Hooo! Our Spring Break begins April 2nd, I too am so excited when it finally arrives. The school year exhausts me with two kids attending now, always something to do. Good Lord, come on Summer!
Oh yeah, Spring Break. Ours isn't until mid-April and I'm sure my kids are more than ready. We'll probably be sticking around the house getting some stuff done. But just the thought of not having to wake up before the crack of dawn is a real turn on for me.
Momma Michie - After Spring Break there are nine more weeks of school! Back to lazy days. I can't believe it's almost that time again.
Angela - I'm excited about not having to set the alarm! And the phone better not ring too early either!!!
Our spring break started wednesday. It had been nice outside until it started, and now they are calling for 6-8 inches of snow!
I can just feel your excitement through post. I suspect it will be wonderful!

I miss spring break! Honestly I think spring break should be a mandatory part of the year whether you're in school or not. It would be so nice if at the very beginning of spring there was a break to let everyone just enjoy. I'm sure this would boost so many people morale. I think I am going to put this in the suggestion box at work...oh wait there is no suggestion box at work!
Hopefully you get to do all the fun things you have planned, no matter how un-fun middle daughter thinks they are!
Enjoy your spring break. I can't wait until mine gets here. Well, on second thought, i'll skip over spring break and settle for summer vacation!
