I am a wife, and mother of 5. It took me until my 40s to "experience" life, instead of just going through the motions of living. These days I try to make every experience an adventure.
While trying new things, and going new places, I'm finding new interest, and passions. I'm a foodie in training, a wanna be travelista, and athlete - tennis player to be exact. All five of my children are athletes, as well as my husband, and I really want to be one too!
I am Lifestyle blogger, with Mommy blogging tendencies, who absolutely loves reality TV, cooking for my family, and all things social media. Although I may fuss every now and then about being the taxi for my very active children, I love it! I love attending their games, and cheering from the stands.
This blog was started to chronicle the decade of my 40s, and everything that goes with it. It seems to evolved into so much more. I found my niche. Social media, blogging/vlogging, Tweeting http://www.twitter.com/latonyaich and @larichmedia)... is my calling. And I'm pretty good at it! I also started a media blog LaRichMedia, as a way to start consulting, and connecting small businesses to the wonderful world of social media.
Other places I contribute:
...as an Editorialista at MyBlogalicious, a virtual community of multicultural bloggers serving as a destination for news, entertainment resources and op-ed content for women of color online.
... at Women’s World Magazine, a positive platform for real women to share their experience, knowledge, and stories because every woman has a story to tell.
... as the administrator, writer and producer for my church Mount Harmony MB Church's blogsite.
And of course I have big ideas, and projects I'd love implement, look for me!

Ahhh, I'm a would be tennis star myself. If we lived in the same city, I'd love to meet you on a court. Oh well. It's nice to "meet" someone in the blogosphere who shares that interest. Nice blog, I'm going to subscribe right now!
